IGR-JUVENIL HORMONE ANALOGUE  PYRIPROXYFEN are controlled by hormones that regulate insect’s development from the egg until it reaches maturity. Which hormone is more in the blood, its function is more dominant. The amount of one of these in the blood missing or surplus delays or stops necessary development.

At the same time, it prevents insect reproduction by causing some abnormal formations in insects.

This situation has given birth to the idea of the use of hormones that could have a replacement for chemical substance in combat with insects during the search of alternative methods.

Today, Hormone-containing preparations which are applied to the insect itself or its environment by spraying are used against housefly and mosquito larvae.

SERBATE 15 EC prevents insects’ transition from larva to pupa, pupa to mature with PYRIPROXYFEN effect when it applied to the insects in the process of becoming a mature while larvae and nymphs evolving. Synthetic and Youth hormone-like(JHA) effect of PYRIPROXYFEN (similar to the youth hormone of pest secreted in egg, larval and pupa stages) prevents pest from becoming a mature by blocking metamorphosis and death occurs.
